Results Day 2025 – Well Done and What’s Next?
As students across Falkirk East and Linlithgow receive their exam results, SNP candidate Martyn Day has congratulated young people for their efforts and resilience, and welcomed the work of the Scottish Government in expanding opportunities and support.
Martyn Day said:
“This is a moment of pride for so many students and families across Falkirk East and Linlithgow. I want to congratulate all young people receiving their results. Your hard work and determination have brought you to this important stage, and you should be proud.
“Whatever your results, there are many routes to success. The SNP Government is committed to ensuring that no young person is left behind, with advice and support available to help everyone take their next steps with confidence.”

Support for Young People
Anyone looking for guidance on what to do next can access free, expert advice from Skills Development Scotland (SDS). The SDS Results Helpline is open and staffed by experienced careers advisers who can assist with UCAS applications, college and university vacancies, apprenticeships, employment, training options, and staying on at school.

Martyn Day also welcomed the Scottish Government’s ongoing efforts to create meaningful opportunities for Scotland’s young people. From record literacy and numeracy achievements to investment in apprenticeships, university access and care-experienced student support, the SNP Government continues to prioritise equality of opportunity.
