The Next UK Election Could Put Scotland’s Future in Farage’s Hands

The next UK General Election could deliver the most dangerous Westminster outcome Scotland has ever faced — a Reform UK majority or a Reform-led minority government, with Nigel Farage as Prime Minister, put into Downing Street by voters in England.

Such a scenario would see Scotland’s future decided by a party with no mandate here — a party that has consistently opposed devolution and would happily roll back the powers of our Parliament.

The risks to Scotland are real:
Devolution under threat – Westminster could strip powers from Holyrood or block Scottish legislation entirely.
Right-wing economic policies – Cuts to public services, deregulation, and privatisation on an unprecedented scale.
Attacks on rights and protections – From employment rights to environmental safeguards to removing funding from the NHS.

Scotland already faces a democratic deficit — our Parliament, our values, and our decisions are too often overruled by Westminster. But a Farage premiership would take that to extremes, dismantling the progress made since devolution began in 1999.
