Supporting Freedom and Democracy

It was good to see the supporters of a democratic secular free Iran out in force in Berlin.

Wherever people suffer, we all suffer, and it is essential that we remove the evil regime in Iran. The Iranian people have suffered too long under dictatorship, a situation not helped by UK and US intereference – it is time now for a democratic secular Iran.

The UK needs to step up and proscribe the IRGC as a terrorist organisation, the EU already has.  Let’s support the Iranian people against the current dictatorship.  #IranProtests2026
