Fighting for Fairness and Freedom

I was delighted to be out on the campaign trail in Laureston, where I received an great response from local people about the SNP’s plans to tackle the cost of living crisis head-on.

We know families are feeling the pressure, which is why we’re taking action to Tackle the cost of living crisis with targeted measures to ease financial strain.

Reduce child poverty, giving our young people the best start in life.
Scrap peak rail fares to make travel more affordable for everyone.
Protect the winter fuel payment for pensioners, ensuring older people stay warm in the winter months.

The SNP is proud to stand for social justice and economic relief, and we will continue working to ensure Scotland is a fairer, more prosperous place for all.  But to go further, we need the full powers that only independence can bring – so Scotland can take every decision about how best to support our people, grow our economy, and meet the challenges of the future.
