Congratulations Shri Anoop Jacob

I have been a bit preoccupied of late with elections in Scotland, so it has been nice to catch up with electoral events elsewhere over the last few days. 

The elections in Kerela took place on 9 April, but the candidates had to wait until 4 May for the count.  Thankfully I only had an overnight wait for my result.

Sending my warmest congratulations to our family friend Shri Anoop Jacob on his appointment as a Minister in Kerala.

My heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the entire new cabinet as they take the oath today. Wishing the team great success in serving the people of Kerala.

Here at home we will have the election of the First Minister tomorrow and the appointment of ministers later in the week.
