Martyn Day, SNP candidate for Falkirk East & Linlithgow, has paid warm tribute to the dedication of local activists and volunteers as the constituency campaign pauses for the festive season.

In a message to members and supporters, Martyn highlighted the scale of activity delivered in recent months: several highly successful supporters’ events, thousands of doorstep conversations, and tens of thousands of pieces of campaign literature already delivered across the constituency.

He said:

“Your energy and commitment have been nothing short of phenomenal. Speaking to thousands of voters on the doorsteps and getting tens of thousands of leaflets out doesn’t happen by accident – it happens because of the hard work, the dedication, and the shared belief that we can build a better, fairer Scotland.”

Thanking those already preparing the next wave of materials for January delivery, he added:

“This team never switches off, and that quiet determination is exactly why we’re in such a strong position heading into the new year.”

Looking ahead, Martyn added:

“Come January we’ll be straight back at it – because we have a constituency to win, an SNP government to elect, and the independence case to take forward. Rest up, enjoy the festivities, and I’ll see you all refreshed and ready for the battles ahead.”

He concluded by wishing everyone a merry Christmas and a peaceful Hogmanay, adding that the break is thoroughly deserved after an outstanding effort from the local SNP team.
