Dear {name} The SNP has made its position clear: companies like Palantir should have no role in Scotland’s NHS. We will Keep Scotland’s NHS in Scotland’s hands. Serious concerns have been raised about Palantir’s record, including warnings from Amnesty International about its involvement in human rights abuses. The company already has a major contract with the UK Government and is embedded within NHS systems in England. That matters because Labour in Scotland has signalled a willingness to align more closely with NHS England on digitisation. That raises legitimate questions about whether firms like Palantir could be brought into Scotland’s health service. Anas Sarwar has so far refused to rule that out. Amnesty International’s Scotland Programme Director has now written to party leaders asking them to make their position clear. The SNP has done exactly that. Scotland’s NHS should be run in the interests of patients here not opened up to controversial overseas tech firms with serious ethical questions hanging over them. With an election approaching, the choice is straightforward: protect the NHS as a public service, accountable to the people of Scotland, or risk it being shaped by external commercial interests. The SNP will not allow Scotland’s NHS to be handed over to companies like Palantir. Yours for Scotland,
