Dear {name} Independence: The Fresh Start Scotland Needs Quite unbelievably Labour have now said there should be no independence referendum—even if the SNP wins a majority. That’s not democracy. With the UK drifting right and a deepening democratic deficit, it’s imperative Scotland charts our own course. Next year we must deliver an indisputable majority for independence. New boundaries were finalised on 16 October, and our Falkirk East & Linlithgow team is geared up and ready. I’ve proudly signed the Your Right To Decide pledge, and independence will be front and centre of our campaign with practical policies: cutting NHS bottlenecks through a network of walk-in GP centres, and directly sponsoring visas to support our care sector. Now to a date for your diary: I’m hosting a campaign fundraiser—an “adoption night”—on Friday 14 November in Grangemouth, with a fantastic line-up of political speakers headed by First Minister John Swinney, and with Fiona Hyslop MSP and Stewart Stevenson as supporting speakers. There’ll be food and entertainment. Tickets are £20—if you’d like one, please just drop me an email. Yours for Scotland,
