Dear {name} Independence Has Never Been More Urgent The political and ideological gulf between Scotland and Westminster grows wider by the day. Poll after poll now points towards Nigel Farage becoming the next UK Prime Minister — bringing a hard-right agenda that threatens our freedoms and human rights. We are already seeing a drift towards authoritarianism, from digital ID plans to talk of leaving the European Convention on Human Rights — which protects the right to worship freely, the right to family life, and the power to hold government in check. These are not abstract ideals; they are the foundations of a free society. Scotland has consistently chosen a different path — one rooted in fairness, compassion and democracy. That’s why independence has never been more urgent. Next year we must deliver an indisputable mandate for independence. To do that, our movement needs unity, focus and cooperation. That spirit of collaboration is already taking shape through the new Memorandum of Understanding between the SNP and Believe in Scotland, signed by John Swinney and Gordon MacIntyre-Kemp. The agreement commits both organisations to work together, share research, and strengthen the independence campaign through the Scottish Independence Congress. I warmly welcome this partnership and the renewed willingness to work across the movement. By standing together, we can secure the fairer, independent future Scotland deserves. Yours for Scotland,
